I truly cannot believe that it’s December, nor can I believe how fast time has been flying these days. That said, this girl is more than ready for the holidays. Today I’m super excited to be participating in Day 6 of the Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas, with a tag inspired by the song Let it Snow.
In case you haven’t heard about it before, the 12 Tags of Christmas is an annual crafting challenge where design team members and the crafty community (that includes you!) make tags inspired by a variety of Christmas carols. Each day, a new song is announced and we encourage you to create a tag for as many as you like. By posting them in the main challenge post on the Ellen Hutson blog, you’ll be entered to win a $100 gift card to the Ellen Hutson shop.
Growing up in Canada, snow comes pretty standard with Christmas and my childhood was full of snowy outdoor activities. I chose to translate snow into gold shaker stars for this project, and if you’re not a fan of cold weather, I’d argue that gold shaker stars are more fun to play with! For a closer look, and the step-by-step how-to for this tag, be sure to check out my post here. I hope it inspires to you to participate in the 12 Tags challenge, and can’t wait to see what you create!
