Hi friends!
How was your Christmas and Boxing Day? I hope you’ve all had a wonderful holiday so far. Bahrain has been great and while it poured rain for pretty much the entire day on Christmas, that didn’t stop us from enjoying a delicious brunch at one of the local hotels with friends.
(Apologies for the blur on the photos – my iPhone’s camera isn’t as crisp as it used to be!) Just like the last time I was here, there was pretty much everything available from salad, seafood, sushi and custom stir fry to the traditional Christmas spread. I think I got my year’s fill of smoked salmon and prawns, and it was all absolutely delicious.
I’ve got some holiday photos to share with you on Wednesday, but today I’ve got the top 15 clean eating recipes of 2015 (according to Google) on Eat Spin Run Repeat for you. There were a few failures and flops, and plenty of dishes produced that were far from blog-worthy. Thankfully, there were many more absolutely delicious ones that you guys clearly enjoyed too! Here they are, in reverse order right down to the most popular.

And there you have it! I’m looking forward to plenty more delicious creations to come in 2016. On Wednesday I’ll be back with one last recipe for the year, but in the meantime I’d love to know…
- Do you have a favourite Eat Spin Run Repeat recipe that didn’t make the top 15? What was it?
- What was the best thing you ate this year? I can think of SO many awesome meals, but if I had to narrow it down to just a few, I’d say Heirloom‘s kale slaw (recreated here), this Edamame and Cucumber Noodle Salad with Creamy Ginger Dressing, this Summertime Quinoa and Greens Salad, and all the salmon and seafood I’ve devoured since moving to the west coast!
