Back when I was living in LA, my friends and I didn’t do very much entertaining or hosting. There were so many places to go that it just seemed odd to hang out in our apartments. Transition to now, however, and lately, my inner hostess has been having SO much fun hosting brunches, girls’ nights, games nights, and more.
I love every part of entertaining, from the planning of the decor, to the cooking of whatever’s on the menu, to the actual event. Admittedly the washing up afterwards isn’t quite as fun, but that’s what a dishwasher is for, right?
While I don’t always have time, it’s always fun to incorporate some sort of handmade crafty element.
