- 1 serving vanilla Vega Essentials or Vega Sport Performance Protein
- 1 big fistful of your favourite mild-tasting greens, such as spinach or romaine lettuce
- 1/2 tart apple
- 1/2 peeled banana (ideally frozen)
- 1 medium-sized carrot, peeled and chopped (6-7″ length)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk beverage
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- juice of 1/2 lemon (about 2 tbsp)
- 8 ice cubes
Instructions
- Toss everything except for the ice into your blender and blend on high until completely smooth.
- Add the ice and continue blending until all pieces are crushed.
- Pour into a tall glass and serve.
