Hey there friends! Today I’ve got a quick card to share before we head into the weekend, and the sentiment is very fitting because I’m feeling all the feels this morning! It’s been a bit of a whirlwind week with highs including a restock of foam tape that arrived (hooray!!!) and lows, like getting locked out of my Instagram account?! Not sure what I did to deserve that, but rest assured, I was told it was “a mistake” and all is back to normal now. Phew!
Annnyways, the card. I made this one with a combination of products from Pigment Craft Co and The Stamp Market, along with a fun little assortment of dye inks from TSM and Pinkfresh Studio. I rarely use blues on my cards and am not too sure why, but really felt excited and happy with how they worked out here.
To get started, I stamped a bunch of flowers from the Pigment Craft Co Blossoming Stamp Set, then cut them out with the coordinating dies. While my die cutting machine was out, I also created a background using The Stamp Market Modern Motif die, covering the back with little foam adhesive strips so that it would pop forward on my card panel.
Next, I embossed the ‘all the feels’ sentiment from the Gorgeous Greetings stamp set on some deep navy cardstock. I love how the white contrasts so strongly with the navy, and really makes the words the focus of the card. I cut it out with the coordinating die, then it was time for some flower arranging! I always reach for Glad Press n Seal to do this because it allows me to temporarily adhere the die cut clusters together until they’re exactly the way I want them, and never leaves marks on my stamped images. If you don’t have a roll, I highly recommend grabbing yourself one next time you’re at the grocery store!
After fiddling with my arrangements for far longer than I expect most people would (that’s just the way I am), I eventually settled on their positions and adhered them to my Modern Motif panel, along with the sentiment.
That’s all I’ve got for you this week, but stay tuned because you’re not going to want to miss Monday’s post – there just might be a giveaway happening! In the meantime, thank you so much for stopping by, and have a lovely (hopefully crafty) weekend!
