Catherine Pooler Celebrate Spring Collection

Catherine Pooler Celebrate Spring Release

Hi friends! Today the latest collection from Catherine Pooler just released, and it’s very appropriately titled Celebrate Spring. There are so many pretty spring-inspired goodies, from floral stamps and slimline cover dies to essentials for Mother’s Day cards and Easter.

Today I’m sharing a card made with the new Fresh Picked Floral stamp set, which also comes with coordinating dies. This set has both line art and a few solid images, so whether you want to color or just stamp, you’ve got options!

To get started, I selected three darker inks – Sauna, Daydream and Sangria – as well as 3 lighter inks – Shea Butter, Cummerbund and Royal Treatment. With color pairings for the yellow, blue and purple color families, I was set to start stamping. I randomly stamped one of the small leaf images all over a white A2 card panel in my 3 darker ink colors, then used one of the small solid stamps from the previously-released Bold Bits and Patterns to “color them in” with the 3 lighter inks.

After trimming the panel down to 4.75″ tall x 3.5″ wide, I moved on to the sentiment which comes from the new Just Plain Fabulous Sentiments stamp set. I embossed my sentiments on Concord and 9th cardstock (Oceanside and Peacock), then adhered them with foam tape towards the bottom 1/3 of the leafy panel. To finish, I mounted the whole thing with more foam tape to an A2 card base and popped on a few clear sequins from the Crater Lake mix. Ta-daaa!

I’ll have a few more cards to share featuring this collection over on Instagram throughout this month, and below is a look at two more that use this same stamp set in different ways. If you’re yearning for spring and need a craft session to put you in the mood, I think creating with this release will do exactly that!

You’ll find the full release (including so much more than I’ve shown you here) in the Catherine Pooler shop. I hope you have as much fun with it as I have. Happy crafting!
