Catherine Pooler Ex Libris Release + Apothecary Inks

Catherine Pooler Ex Libris Collection and Apothecary Inks

Hello there! Today marks the release of the latest collection from Catherine Pooler, Ex Libris, and I’ve got a couple of projects to share that feature a few of the new items. This release includes several bundles, as well as four new, absolutely GORGEOUS inks. If you love color, you’re definitely going to want to add these to your stash!

Let’s start with the ink pads:

  • Terra Cotta – a deep, warm red
  • Apricot – a very light orange
  • Wintergreen – a light minty green
  • Ginger – an orange-brown

These are an extension of the Catherine Pooler Spa Ink Collection, which already includes some of my favorite colors. I love the uniqueness of these new additions, especially when used together, and had so much fun incorporating them into my Ex Libris projects.

The main card I’ve got to share with you today combines the new Notable & Quotable Sentiments Stamp Set, which also has coordinating Notable Floral Dies. I also pulled in one of my favorites from an earlier release, the Bold Bits and Patterns stamp set, for some abstract pops of color in the background.

Color palette-wise, I used the newly-released Apricot, Terra Cotta and Wintergreen, and combined those with close darker shades in the same color family – Polished, Sea Glass and Orange Peel. I stamped the colored elements, followed by the botanicals in black in, then embossed a sentiment from the Notable & Quotable Sentiments Stamp Set in white on deep green cardstock for contrast. To finish, I added a few gold sequins from the Catherine Pooler Vegas Baby confetti mix.

This card was an easy and fun one to make, and below you’ll find a few others that I’ve created with this collection.

Be sure to stop by the Catherine Pooler shop and check out the new collection and Apothecary inks here. I can’t wait for you to get your hands on it all – especially the inks, because I think you’ll love ’em! Until next time, happy crafting!
