Last week marked the start of the Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas, and if you haven’t yet jumped into this annual holiday tag making event, you’ve gotta get check out the action! In case this is the first time you’re hearing about the 12 Tags of Christmas, the gist is this: For the first 12 days of December, we’re creating tags inspired by holiday songs. Today’s theme is Jingle Bells, and I’m pretty darn sure this is the first Christmas carol I ever learned as a kid! Do you recall what yours was?
Inspired by the theme, I created the little set of tags you see here, incorporating some hot foiling, stamping, and of course, bells! I’m up on the Ellen Hutson blog sharing the step-by-step process, as well as a few tips along the way.
I’d love for you to come over and check it out here, and there’s plenty of inspiration to be found from other designers too! Of course, you can follow along and see what others are creating on Instagram by searching the hashtag #twelvetagsofchristmas, and submit your own tags for a chance to win prizes. I’m so excited to see what the daily themes inspire you to create!
This tag set is so very beautiful!
