Pinkfresh Studio In My Heart Encouragement Card

Last week, Pinkfresh Studio released a whole bunch of new goodies and juuuust in case the blog hop and Instagram hop weren’t enough to get you inspired, today I’ve got another project to share.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again for those of you that haven’t delved into the world of layering stencils yet: Even if you don’t think you’re a good ink blender, you can totally do layering stencils. I used to find my ink blending to be patchy and things always got too vibrant, way too fast. In addition, I didn’t have time (or much desire) to color with markers on every card I made that featured line art, but this girl LOVES color, and layering stencils totally solved that problem.

The new In My Heart suite features a stamp, die and set of (you guessed it) layering stencils, and when combined, lead to the gorgeous floral frame you see here. You’ll find full details on how I made it, plus a few tips along the way, over on the Pinkfresh Studio blog. I hope you’ll come check it out!
