Hi friends! Today marks the launch of Pigment Craft Co’s latest release, and I’m pretty certain these new goodies are going to put you in the mood for gift wrapping! As you’re about to see, they definitely had that effect on me because I went to town with handmade gift tags. Let’s just say I was very much in the groove, and the stamps and dies in this release have endless possibilities! Oh, and if you’ve been in love with Pigment’s inks as much as I have, you’ll be thrilled to know that there are now 11 – yes, ELEVEN new colors in the lineup!
I decided to put a holiday spin on the tags you see here, but so many of the products will work year-round. There’s an assortment of tag dies in all sizes, and the large pointsettia you see below not only fills up a large tag, but also fits really nicely on the front of a standard A2 card.
For all of the tags, I used a color palette consisting of Pigment Craft Co inks in Fir, Sage and Eucalyptus, as well as a few touches of purple and pink from other inks in my stash. I love the soft, more muted tones of Pigment’s greens, especially for the holidays!
For the botanical elements, you’re seeing a few different sets here. First, there’s the new Modern Pointsettia as I mentioned above, which is a gorgeous multi-step stamp that I think could easily be used on cards long after the holiday season. The Modern Pointsettia die is all one piece, but I simply cut the botanical pieces off for the tag above. For the others, I added some greenery bits from the previously-released Winter Sprig set, and borrowed some sentiments from the Falala stamp set.
As for the backgrounds, one of my favorite products in this release is the new Hey Snowflake cover plate, a cover die that is sized for an A2 card. It doesn’t cut edges – just the snowflake pattern – which I love because it means you can die cut larger pieces of cardstock seamlessly. For several of my tags, I layered it on top of glitter cardstock for a festive feel, and you could absolutely do this for a coordinating card as well.
The other background I loved playing with was the new Gingham Pattern Builder stamp set, which pretty much has you covered for all sizes of gingham backgrounds! There are three different sizes which you can repeat-stamp to cover whatever size panel you’re creating, as well as stand-alone squares for even more possibilities.
Feeling inspired? You can check out the full release here, and be sure to also pop over to Instagram where you could win a Pigment Craft Co gift card! There’s a $100 gift card up for grabs in Pigment’s feed, as well as a $25 gift card for each stop on the mini Insta-hop.
