Mirrored Triangles Stencil Cards - featuring Pinkfresh Studio

Firstly, I’ll start by saying thank you all so much for the comments and enthusiasm in my last post for the Pinkfresh Studio December release blog hop! It sounds like many of you are just as excited as I am about these new stencils, and that’s a great thing because I’ve got more where that came from!

Today’s cards feature the Mirrored Triangles Stencil, and like last post, a rainbow of Pinkfresh dye inks. For the first card, I used a blending brush and Stargazer ink to stencil the bottom right triangles onto my white card base. Once that was finished, I cleaned the stencil, flipped it over, and got to work on the rainbow you see below, using a different colour for each row. To prevent ink from getting into sections where I didn’t want it, I used Post-it tape to cover the other open stencil areas.

For the second card I used the stencil in the same way, but this time with 2 shades of the same colour per row.

Admittedly I was a little less careful with my Post-it tape and that resulted in a little bit of orange ink getting into my pink section, but that was definitely due to laziness on my part!

Like the layered stencil cards I shared last week, pulling the final stencil away for the big reveal was the best part of making these. I finished the stenciled panels off with some really simple sentiment die cuts from the Essentials Classic Words Die Set, popped them on top of some craft foam, then mounted each one on a white card base. Done and done!

I’d love to hear: Do you have a favourite stencil from this new release? Are there any that you’re dying to play with?
