Hello there! I’m popping in today with a quick and easy Thank You card, and if you’re like me, I’m sure you’d agree that there’s no such thing as having too many of these in your stash. I’ve used a very year-round colour palette, along with a palm leaf because I’m longing for warm weather, beach breezes and palm trees right now! Anyone else feeling the same?
You guys know I like a good white-on-white card, so to kick this one off, I used The Stamp Market Palm Leaf Die to create a few white die cuts. My time-saving tip for this is to back your white cardstock with double-sided adhesive before die cutting, because this makes it super quick and easy to stick it to the vellum sheet behind it.
After trimming the excess off the edges of my vellum panel, I moved on to die cutting the letters for ‘Thanks’ from the Skinny Upper Alpha Die Set, cutting two for each so that I could stack them on top of each other for dimension. I chose Color Crush cardstock in shades of Jade, Island, and Tropic Teal – a combo I love and use very often!
I lined up the letters in the center of the palm leaf panel, then used tiny clear adhesive dots to secure the vellum panel to the base. Finally, I added some little enamel dot clusters in the corners to finish the card.
Alrighty, yours truly is off to do a whoooole bunch of card making today, and at some point, I’m hoping to finish off one of my current crochet projects too. (Isn’t it interesting how even during quarantine life, there still never seems to be enough time for hobbies?) I hope you’ll get to enjoy some creative time too, however that looks for you. Have a fabulous weekend!
