Hello there!
How was your week? It totally doesn’t feel like a Friday to me since I was on vacation for Monday and Tuesday, but I’m certainly not complaining. This weekend is going to be a packed one with big progress on some fun blog projects (see my positive thinking there?) as well as my goals for August. It won’t all be work though, because our weather here in Vancouver has been glorious and a long sea wall run is high on my priority list.
Speaking of sweat, I’ve got a really fun workout for you today!

Work It Out
Due to my tendency to wake up early, I’ve become very accustomed to doing most of my workouts solo. It’s great thinking time, and no other commitments get in the way like they do when fitness plans are made later in the day. With that said though, one of my goals this year was to make fitness more social.
There’s no doubt that totally crushing a sweaty workout is satisfying, but it’s even better when you can celebrate that success with a friend. Just look at how many people pay money and wake up crazy early to take part in races, sometimes even in terrible weather. We just wouldn’t do that kind of stuff if we didn’t have someone to do it with! So with all this in mind, today’s circuit is one that you can do with your bestie.

The Partner Stair Circuit Workout
All you’ll need for this is a flight of stairs, and they can be inside or outside. Start with some easy cardio to get your body warm, then decide who’s going to be partner A and B. Get straight into round 1. When you’re finished, end with some easy running or walking to bring your heart rate back down.

Turn It Up
I’m not sure how many times I’ve listened to OneRepublic’s new song Kids since finding it on Spotify on Monday, but I’m willing to bet it’s probably in the 60-70x range at the moment. I think this might just be my favourite song to be released this summer, and I’m pumped about their new album coming out this fall. Enjoy!

Right, that’s all for today! Before you go, I’d love to hear…
- Have you been watching the Olympics? What’s been your favourite moment so far? I’ve got many, but thought that this one was pretty special.
Ohhhh. I love the partner workout idea. I am totally going to give this a try.
Also, I headed IMMEDIATELY to spotify to listen to Kids. I can’t believe I haven’t heard it yet…

I just went down a rabbit hole of reading all sorts of Mind Body Green articles on the Olympics! Haha. It’s fun to watch all the sports but my favourites have been running, triathlon, track an soccer.
