If yesterday’s post had you excited about the new Pinkfresh Studio June release, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s an Instagram hop kicking off today!
I don’t often do full-size slimline cards because they’re – well, just BIG – but in this case, I really wanted to use as many of the gorgeous images from the new Pinkfresh Studio Lemons and Blueberries stamp set as I could.
To begin, I chose 5 different colors of cardstock in various blue and yellow shades. I used the Lemons and Blueberries stamp set along with white embossing powder to emboss the little clusters of lemons and blueberries on the cardstock, leaving the navy piece aside for the letters of my sentiment.
With my embossed cardstock ready to go, I moved on to die cut the ‘hello’ letters for my sentiment. If you’ve been following along for a while, you’ll know that I adore the Pinkfresh Heather’s Lower Case alpha die set because I use it a lot! Recently I added Lea’s Ornate Lower Case alpha die set to my collection, which is where that cute little curly h came from.
I used a piece of Glad Press’n Seal (so handy!) to temporarily adhere my letters together from the front so that I could apply adhesive to the back. Once the rectangular cardstock pieces were adhered with foam tape to my trimmed slimline card panel, I positioned the letters over the right hand side until they were exactly where I wanted them, pressed them down, then gently peeled back the Press’n Seal. If you’re like me and need to fuss around with the arrangement of your die cuts, whether it’s letters, flowers, or whatever – this stuff is truly a savior and doesn’t damage die cuts at all. 10/10 recommend!
Stay tuned because I have a TON more inspo to share with you using the new Pinkfresh release products lined up this week. For now, let’s get on to the details for the Instagram hop!
