After a 3-day countdown, Reverse Confetti‘s July release is now live! Today we’re celebrating with a blog hop, so be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post for details. In addition, I’ve got a project to share that shows off some of the great new hot foil plates in this release, so let’s get straight to it.

For this card, I put the new Reverse Confetti hot foil plates to the test by foiling up a bunch of the Elements (which looked a lot to me like party streamers) and ‘birthday wishes‘ sentiments. Using the coordinating dies, I cut out each piece. I prefer my sentiments to be on the more sturdy, chipboard-like side because they hold up better in the mail, so after foiling the ‘birthday wishes’, I created a few extra die cuts and stacked them on top of each other with liquid adhesive.

Moving on to the background, I created a textured panel using the new Deco Cover Plate and white cardstock, then cut a rectangle out of the middle, leaving a thick frame. I layered this over an ink blended panel and arranged the foiled Elements pieces between the two so that they looked like cascading party streamers. To finish, I tucked the sentiment down towards the bottom third of the card, adhering it with liquid glue.
