Hello lovelies!

After a busy work week, I’m feeling really excited about queuing up the Christmas movies, breaking out the craft supplies, and diving straight into some tag making and gift wrapping this weekend. Are you ready for the holidays yet? Admittedly I’m a bit behind with getting a few to-do’s out of the way, but I am 100% most certainly ready to disconnect for a bit towards the end of this month and take a full-on brain break!

Today I’ve got a slimline card to share that features a few goodies from The Stamp Market and Pinkfresh Studio. To begin, I ran the Pinkfresh Studio Essentials Slim Diagonal Stripes die with a piece of white cardstock through my die cutting machine to create the background you see pictured here. Next I cut a piece of silver cardstock to exactly the same length and width as my die cut, adhering the white striped panel on top. Background: check!

For the sentiment, I used The Stamp Market Scripty Merry die to cut 3 Merry’s. The shadows were cut in shades of blue and the inner script from glitter cardstock, backed with an adhesive sheet. This allowed me to quickly and easily stick it on top of the shadow layers.

I wasn’t quite done with the sparkles yet – the card needed some glitzy snowflakes! I picked one from the Pinkfresh Studio Layered Snowflakes die set, cutting the background layer from heavyweight vellum and the more intricate parts from glitter cardstock. Once assembled, I arranged all of my elements on the card, including a little heat embossed ‘Christmas’. Tiny glue dots were used to adhere the snowflakes to the card discretely (I love how they can be hidden so easily!) and skinny foam strips were used under the scripty Merry to give it some dimension.

And there you have it! I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and I’ll see you back here on Monday.
