This past weekend, I pulled together some of my favorite products from The Stamp Market and Pinkfresh Studio to create a coordinated card set. I ended up with 10 different cards, and if you’re thinking that’s a lot of cards for one weekend, you’re right! I guess there was just a whole bunch of crafty energy inside me that needed to be let out, and I was really pleased with the results so I thought I’d share them with you today. Below you can take a peek at each card, and follow the links if you’re interested in grabbing the supplies for yourself.
The Color Palette
Choosing colors can make or break a card making session for me. Sometimes if I choose colors I’m not 10000% into, I lose interest in the card making process and it’s just not as fun! But I’ve learned that taking time to mix and match cardstock swatch cards until I’m totally sure on the selection is always worth it. The colors I went with here were from The Stamp Market’s Color Crush line, as well as a few from Concord and 9th:
- Fuschia (TSM)
- Coral Reef (TSM)
- Sorbet (Concord and 9th, but TSM Peach would have worked too)
- Sea Glass (TSM)
- Tropic Teal (TSM)
- Oceanside (Concord and 9th)
- Peacock (Concord and 9th, but TSM Jade would have worked too)
In addition to those colors, I worked in some gold and silver using hot foil, sequins and embossing powders.
The Cards
First up, the trio of designs that inspired the name of this set:
The rainbows you see here were die cut from the Pinkfresh Studio Colorblock Rainbow Die. I embossed the little sentiments on plain white card panels in gold, then adhered each piece of the rainbows forward with skinny foam strips.
The sentiments came from a small bonus gift with purchase stamp set that I got a few months back from The Stamp Market. It doesn’t appear to be available for purchase any more, but you could easily use any small sentiments in your stash.
The next 3 cards incorporated one of my favorite things (and you guys know I love ’em) – stripes! You may recognize the design and clear-embossed stamp below from this post, and yes, it’s the exact same design with a different color palette. I liked it so much, I made it twice!

These next two cards are a lot more exciting in person than they are in these photos, and that’s because it’s difficult to see the texture I created in the background with embossing paste and sparkling white embossing powder. My white-on-white-background loving heart is very much enjoying playing with embossing paste, and for both of these I used stencils with circle patterns. Immediately after applying the paste to my card panels, I poured sparkly white embossing powder over top, tapped the excess off, and let them dry completely before zapping them with my heat gun.

And there you have it! As you can see, there really weren’t a TON of products used on these cards (many repeated over and over) and considering there’s 10 of them, it didn’t take very long to complete the set.
