Hey there friends! Today I’m excited to be a guest designer and part of the Waffle Flower October 2022 release blog hop, and if you like swatching, have I ever got some exciting news for you!

If you know me, you know I looooove playing with color. Swatching and creating color palettes are some of my favorite things to do, and thankfully, there’s now a Waffle Flower swatching system that you can use with your ink pads, as well as mixed media – embossing powders, alcohol inks, embellishment drops, sprays, pastes – all of it!

In this month’s release, you’ll find the Ink Pad Swatching Bundle and Supply Swatching Bundle. Both have a stamp set, coordinating die set, and stencil. In my photos, you can see how I’ve got the same color, swatched as-stamped, as well as an ink-blended version created with the stencil. I also used the Supply Swatching Bundle to do a faux-watercolor swatch with the same ink pad, but if you’ve got real watercolors, use those too!

Both stamp sets have plenty of little labeling stamps so that you can customize to your heart’s content, and the tag die works for both bundles. Once you’ve completed all of your swatches, you can hold them together with a little binder ring as I’ve done here, for easy access when you go to create your next project.

As you can see in these photos, I’ve worked mainly with my ink pads because I don’t do an enormous amount of mixed media crafting. That said, the Supply Swatching Bundle has label stamps for everything from embossing powders to texture pastes and alcohol inks, so you really can use it for everything!

In addition to the swatching goodies in this release, there’s also a really cute little Inky Friends stamp set, perfect for – well, making crafts to send to your inky friends! I used one of the swatching stamps from the Ink Pad Swatching Bundle with “Just an Inky Hello” to create the clean and simple card you see here:

Love your card, great way to use the stamp in another way.
I must admit that I thoroughly enjoy the organizing part of card making. So satisfying to know that everthing has a little home. Helps also to not purchase duplicates of things since you know what you have!

So beautiful!
I am not sure why but the card reminds me of Tetris. Colorful blocks falling from the sky.
Would love to have a chance to use this to organise my growing stash of inks! I don’t have a swatch system and it is tough matching colours!
