Ready for a little more inspo from the latest Pinkfresh Studio release? I hope so!
As I mentioned in my last post, this release is huge and full of all sorts of layering stencils, stamps and dies. For today’s card, I’ve used the new Curvy Leaves die set, a stand-alone die with 3 pieces. I kept things simple here by using one of the dies with white cardstock, which I figured would create a nice contrast against a colourful background panel.
I’ve been drawn towards spring-inspired palettes lately, and that’s exactly what I went with for this card. I chose Pinkfresh dye inks in Sparkling Rose, Passion Fruit and Lemon Whip, and used my blending brushes with the Layered Sunburst Stencil Set (from a previous release) to create a vibrant background.
My sentiment came from one of the new stamp sets, Friendship Blooms, and I embossed it with fine detail gold embossing powder. After die cutting this piece, I adhered the Curvy Leaves die cut behind it, then mounted that on my Sunburst Stencil background panel with foam tape. At this point I was really loving all the dimension that the card design had, but (you guessed it) decided to add a little more by also mounting my colourful panel on the card base with… more foam tape! To finish, I added a few small crystal embellishments and called it a day.
Don’t forget there’s still time to enter the Pinkfresh Studio February Challenge, plus, be sure to check out the blog hop I mentioned earlier this week because commenting on this post will get you entered for a $25 gift card! Thanks so much for stopping by!
