Hey there friends!
Can you believe it’s nearly November? I can’t believe how fast the holidays are creeping up and am sure they’ll be here before we know it. I’ve been working steadily through my list of holiday cards (the making, not the writing – that’ll come later) in hopes of being fully stocked come December, and lately have been experimenting with some new-to-me card formats. Last month I made my first flip card, inspired by this awesome Jennifer McGuire video. It was so easy and I had so much fun learning that I decided to do another… and a few more after that! Today I’m sharing my latest over on the Ellen Hutson blog.
While most of my cards lately have used non-traditional holiday color palettes, for this occasion I decided on a more conventional one, and incorporated some of the goodies from this month’s Essentials by Ellen release. Have you guys checked it out yet? She’s a beauty! I especially love the falala background stamp, and it worked really nicely to create some extra visual interest on the background panels here.
I’d love to have you come over to check out the full post and how-to here. If you’re feeling inspired and decide to create a flip card on your own, be sure to tag me at @mycraftyperspective on Instagram. I can’t wait to see what you make!
